The 19 articles of this book were selected from the 48 keynotes, workshops and papers presented at the Internationalizing Entrepreneurship Education and Training Conference (IntEnt2002 see also: www.intent-conference.com) held in Johore Bahru, Malaysia in conjunction with the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia organized by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Zaki Abu Bakar, in cooperation with the Foerderkreis Gruendungs-Forschung e. V., Germany (www.fgf-ev.de) and the DtA-Chair for Entrepreneurship at the EUROPEAN BUSINESS SCHOOL, Germany (www.ebs.de).

Speakers from Africa, America, Asia and European countries as well as from diverse disciplines and fields such as academics, politics and business provided many different insights to Entrepreneurship Education and Training.

The academic focus on entrepreneurship education started in North America with first classes in the 40ies, first chairs established in the 60ies and yearly research conferences since the 80ies. But today entrepreneurship education is a worldwide movement on all continents and all kinds of nations – post industrial and developing countries as well – because entrepreneurship is more and more considered to be a key driving force for wealth creation in the 21st century.

This conference is part of the worldwide leading conference series in Entrepreneurship Education (IntEnt) which has started in 1991 and has already taken place in Dortmund, Germany; Vienna, Austria; Stirling, UK; Perth/Bunbury, Australia; Arnhem/Nijmwegen, Netherlands; Monterrey, USA; Oestrich, Germany; Sofia, Bulgaria; Tampere, Finnland; Kruger National Park, South Africa.
